Warranty

The greenhouse manufacturer, Opportunity Resources and Convertible Greenhouse Company does hereby warrant the frame, and associated hardware for a period of 5 years from date of shipment. We warrant the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the applicable period. In the event of a defect, we will repair or replace (at our election) the defective parts. This warranty is subject to the limitations contained in the Return Policy and acceptance of items shipped.

 CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY CLAIM:

The following conditions must be met as part of any warranty claim:

  1. Customer shall ship the defective part to Convertible Greenhouse Company for examination, unless Convertible Greenhouse Co. makes other provision for inspection of defect or alleged damage. 
  2. Payment for shipping costs on warranty claims shall be in the discretion of Convertible Greenhouse Company. 
  3. All claims must be made in writing. You must make your claim within 30 days of the date of discovery of the defect or damage. Convertible Greenhouse Company is not responsible for additional loss or damage resulting from delays in making claims and correcting defects. 
  4. Any warranty claim must be made by the original customer who purchased the product from Convertible Greenhouse Company. 
  5. Warranty claims must be made within the applicable warranty period. Any warranty work or services provided by the manufacturer or Convertible Greenhouse Company during the warranty period will not extend the original warranty period. Any action to enforce this Warranty must be commenced within four months of expiration of the original warranty.

 LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTY:

  1. This Warranty is not applicable to claims resulting from or attributable to any fault or damage caused by improper installation or assembly, incorrect handling or exposure to corrosive conditions, improper attachment to foundation or other buildings, damage arising from impact, modification or inappropriate use or treatment of the building, or extra-ordinary conditions including but not limited to war or acts of God.
  2. Warranties are not applicable unless and until the Customer has completed, signed and returned the Builder's Responsibility form to Convertible Greenhouse Company.
  3. The cost of labor for removal and installation of any parts that are replaced is not included.
  4. Shipping of damaged or defective parts is not included.
  5. Shelves, benches and covers are excluded. The thermal greenhouse film has an expected lifespan of 4-6 years.
  6. This Warranty does not cover electrical products, electrical connections, plumbing fixtures or climate controlling equipment. Any such warranty is exclusively the responsibility of the original manufacturer.

This Warranty is personal to the Customer, and is therefore not transferable or assignable. The responsibility of Convertible Greenhouse Company and the manufacturer is limited to the cost of replacing or repairing any damaged or defective parts. See the Sales Agreement for additional disclaimer of other warranties applicable.

This Warranty is subject to the conditions of Inspection and Discovery of Damaged or Missing Parts as set forth in the Returns Policy.

 CUSTOMER SERVICES:

We have taken every care in the manufacturing of this product to ensure that it gives complete satisfaction. In the unlikely event that damage has occurred in transit, or shortage of components is evident, please follow the instructions listed on the Returns Policy Page of our website.

Return Policies

CGC greenhouses have a five-year warranty to the original purchaser on all frame parts, hinges and hardware. Shelves, benches and covers are excluded.

Return Policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, just notify us within 30 days from the date you receive your order (After 30 days there are no returns and the manufacturer’s warranty applies). We will happily refund the purchase price, less 15%, of your item(s) or exchange the item(s), as you wish.

Customer is responsible for shipping costs to send the items back to the manufacturers. If customer paid for original shipping costs the shipping charges are not refundable, and COD packages are not accepted. Any discounts given will be subtracted from returned merchandise refunds. Damaged or missing items noticed upon delivery should be reported promptly and will be replaced at our expense. Returned products must be in original condition. This includes original packaging material, manuals, and all other accessories provided by the manufacturer.

To return a product, you will need to obtain a RMA (return merchandise authorization) number.

Call 1-877-818-5158 to request an RMA. Our customer service representative will give you an RMA number to be placed
on your package(s).

Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.

To cancel your order, use our online help desk. Include your order number, name, billing address, and items ordered. We’ll acknowledge your ticket upon receipt and let you know as soon as possible if we were successful in canceling an order that has not yet entered our shipping department or is on backorder.

Orders that are already in the shipping system cannot usually be canceled although we will make every attempt to do so at your request. The cancellation process is costly to us, so once an order has been sent to our shipping department, or transmitted to a vendor for shipment, there will be a cancellation fee of 5% of your order total if we are able to cancel your order.

When Your Order Arrives. PLEASE NOTE: On larger greenhouses, and other large items that ship by freight, the purchaser is responsible for getting the items off of the delivery truck. We recommend you have at least 2-4 people to help you remove your items. The driver is not responsible for removing the packages. Also, some freight trucks are too large and are not able to deliver up your driveway. You are then responsible to remove the items and transport them by other means, carry them or by pick-up truck, to your house. If you have questions please contact us.

Do not refuse delivery for minor damage. If a package is damaged, check the contents for damage before refusing delivery. If damage appears to be minor, and only a few items need to be replaced, we recommend accepting the shipment (or at least any undamaged packages) after making note of damages on delivery receipt. Doing this will speed up the replacement process in many cases because parts can be shipped sooner and faster delivery methods can be used.

Inventory the shipment.?Check the number of boxes received against the number shown on the driver’s delivery sheet. If there is a shortage, write the number of missing boxes on your copy and the driver’s copy of the receipt, and have the driver sign both copies.If there is any problem with your shipment please contact us using the online help desk - we will quickly make any arrangements needed to fix any problems.
