The Convertible Greenhouse Company was formed in 2010 to design, manufacture and market a unique line of greenhouse structures. The idea began as a project to make accessible outdoor storage for lawn mowing and yard equipment. From this humble beginning evolved the concept of the Convertible Greenhouse and subsequent design. After almost three years in the design and prototype process, CGC launched its manufacturing facility in late 2010.

Not only do we feel our greenhouses are special but so are the people who help manufacture our greenhouses. CGC has partnered with Opportunity Resources  of Missoula, Montana to assist in the manufacture, packaging and shipping of our unique greenhouses. Opportunity Resources, Inc. is a Missoula-based 501 (3) (c) nonprofit organization providing support for individuals with disabilities since 1955. ORI provides a wide array of supports including facility and community employment, congregate and supported living residential supports, transportation, recreation, art, counseling, nursing, and personal assistance.

In Missoula, Opportunity Resources provides direct services to 400 people with disabilities each day. In Western and North Central Montana they provide case management to 700 people with disabilities 16 years and older.

CGC is passionate about gardening and gardeners and about facilitating production of quality, locally-grown produce, flowers and plants. From the weekend hobby gardener to the professional, CGC greenhouses offer an intelligent, practical solution to greenhouse gardening. And, they make great storage, too! Our belief in the need for sustainable agriculture, education, family-based activities and good stewardship has guided our design process. Our products are proudly made right here in the USA.
